Join SBUK members, Barbara Jones (School of Natural Building) and Annie Benton (Natural Building Systems) at this year's Futurebuild in London.
Both are speaking on the 'Materials Seminar Programme':
- On Tuesday 5th March, 12.30pm - 1pm, as an expert contributor to the RIBA published book, 'MATERIALS: An Environmental Primer' Barbara is with its editor and co-authors: Hattie Harman, Joe Jack Williams and engineer, Alex Lynes discussing how we can better understand the environmental impacts of materials to make more informed design choices.
- On Thursday 7th March, 12.30pm - 1pm, Annie is with Dr Alison Pooley of University of Suffolk, Dr Eshrar Latif of Cardiff University at the 'Healthy Buildings and Materials' talk, looking at how Healthy materials can be hygroscopic and vapour permeable making it possible to maintain good indoor relative humidity without the need for extensive mechanical ventilation. They will explore the range of materials, available, the building physics aspect and the importance of making buildings healthy.
