SBUK Symposium welcomes Jonathan Davies to 2025 speaker line-up

We are delighted to welcome Jonathan Davies to the SBUK Symposium 2025.

Jonathan will present High Performance, Low Carbon: Parc y Rhodyn, telling the story of the UK’s first certified off-grid Passivhaus.

Working with Huff & Puff, this straw-insulated self-build in Carmarthenshire, a finalist in the Passivhaus Trust Awards 2023, was delivered under the Welsh One Planet Development framework. It demonstrates how bio-based and recycled materials can deliver resilience, affordable warmth and very low energy demand.

A long-standing advocate for improved building standards, Jonathan promotes the demand-based metrics of AECB CarbonLite and Passivhaus to deliver low impact, high performance homes.

Early bird and member discounts are now available.
